Everyone loves Oreo, right? Well we certainly do! So as you can imagine, I was doing a little happy dance inside when I was asked to create something delicious using Oreo for this campaign. My first thought was “Oh yes, Oreo can now be wonderfilled with peanut butter” I honestly didn’t think Oreo could get any better, but it just did. I knew I had to create something really amazing to live up to the wonderfilled name. Then it hit me, as I was queuing for gelato in the shop around the corner. What if I could make a peanut butter and chocolate flavoured ice cream with chunks of peanut butter Oreo inside. Then I could eat it at home all the time. You can eat it at home all the time, it’s just too easy!
I’ve been using a no-churn method of making ice cream since I got a stand mixer (you can use a hand mixer too) it works like a dream and produces the most delicious, smooth and creamy ice cream each and every time. Once you have the simple 3 ingredient base, you can pretty much add anything you want. So, I added chocolate spread, peanut butter & the new peanut butter limited edition Oreo. I must admit, this ice cream is awesome. It’s so simple and really requires no effort but it tastes like you’ve gone to so much trouble. I love recipes like this. Enjoyed by everyone and ready in no time at all. Make everyone jealous this Summer and feel the Oreo explosion in your mouth.
