I have received product from Mikado for this post. It is an entry to the Foodies100 Stick out your personality challenge sponsored by Mikado. Mikado are unique, long & ultra-thin crunchy biscuit sticks coated with smooth milk chocolate, with one end left bare so that you don’t get sticky fingers when eating. Mikado comes in four delicious flavours: Milk, White, Daim and Choco King, and stocked in all major supermarkets at an RRP of £1.39. To find out more, visit https://www.facebook.com/Mikado.uk?fref=ts
If you’ve not heard of Mikado, first off, where have you been? Hiding in a cave? Mikado are delicious and they are only 11 calories per stick which is great as once you open the box, you might need to eat them all before you can put it back down again! I’ve been a huge fan of them for ages and they have saved me from sticky fingers on many occasions, like this one. I mean, it’s not often you see me on this blog. I’m usually stashing behind a cupcake, or shoving one in my cake-hole. I’ve been challenged to stick out my personality a little more so this post is more the exception rather than the rule. It’s no big secret that in real life I’m a goofball. I’m loud, I can be obnoxious and I always seem to fill up a room…
…even when I’m the only person in it! I dance in the rain, I like techno, pink and chocolate. When I bake, I’m usually dressed in a pair of dog paw print PJs and not chef whites. I don’t comply and I like to break the rules. I’m a bit of a goof and I don’t take life too seriously. I’m not just a food blogger though, I have a chronic illness but that doesn’t stop me from being chronically awesome – even in my dressing gown! I’ve been feeling a bit less perky than usual so I’ve not been doing much all week apart from catching up with some recipes I needed to write up. In fact, I’ve not been out of my PJs much at all this week. I’ve been laying around resting and generally taking it easy.
