Scones, biscuits, what ever you want to call them. Either way, they are amazingly versatile creations. You can make them sweet or savoury and add a whole host of amazing flavours to them with very little effort. Spicy cheese scones are brilliant. They are a great breakfast on the go too. These bite sized little beauties are small, fluffy and wonderfully savoury. If you’re running late, spicy cheese scones are the perfect things to grab on your way out of the door.
The recipe doesn’t differ much from a regular cheese scone, it just has some Indian spiced cheddar and a few spices added. They take the same amount of time to cook & prepare as well as being totally delicious both warm from the oven and stone cold! I love them warm with butter and a nice big dollop of caramelised onion chutney.
