I really love decanters but I very rarely have anything to put in them so this week, I have a wonderful duck decanter to give away to one lucky reader. I’ve teamed up with Museum Selection who offer a wonderful range of quirky gifts, including the gorgeous duck decanter which sells for £49.99! This would be a great Christmas gift, it would also look good full of port (or any other tipple) on your sideboard. If you’re not a big drinker then it would look great filled with juice or water too. This is a very unusual decanter and was inspired by a whimsical 1881 design by Crichtons which would look great on any table!
The decanter measures approx H 25cm max x W 17cm max x D 11cm and is made from silver plated metal and glass and is 10 ½” tall with a hinged opening which is in the shape of a ducks head which makes this duck decanter truly unique. The liquid pours out of the duck beak too. It’s really rather clever and guaranteed to get people talking. Especially duck lovers like me!
