Peanut krispie squares are a variation on the kids classic, chocolate krispie cakes that are made with peanut butter and dark chocolate instead of the usual milk chocolate. They are truly delicious and loved by kids and grown ups alike. Not only are they a really fun treat but they taste great and are really simple to make. I love no bake baking! It’s so easy that anyone can make it. The end result is a deliciously nutty, crispy treat that is loved by everyone who eats it. You just need to make sure it lasts long enough for everyone to get a slice!
Around here they barely get the chance to set before they get whisked away from the fridge and shoved in school bags and laptop cases! I’m lucky these days if I even get a mouthful of my own baking recently as Misteright likes to take treats into the office. It makes for happy workers and it means I have guinea pigs to test my latest creations on. I don’t think the rest of the staff object in any way, shape or form! It’s always nice to have a desk snack but I really love peanut krispie squares so I was a bit cross he didn’t save me much. (I ate one sad broken square, woe is me!)
Please be aware that this recipe contains peanuts which are not suitable for small children or people who have a nut allergy.
