On Bank Holiday weekend, I made Pepperoni Pizza Bread as part of the MorrisonsMum campaign in association with Morrisons and Britmums The Boy loves pizza so I make it on a regular basis but I’m always looking for clever ways to create something new from the plain dishes that we all love. Then it hit me, I’d seen picnic bread on a cookery show last year and always wanted to make something similar but my bread skills were never very good. Now I have my fancy SAGE scraper Pro, I can actually make a brilliant dough for anything, without any effort at all!
I bought all of the ingredients for this recipe from Morrisons and to make the whole loaf, it cost around £4.44 and took around 2 hours from start to finish. The idea I was going for was Summer eating style food. Picnics and BBQs, easy food that can be eaten anywhere. It’s perfect for that and it tastes just like a pizza too. Even Misteright was impressed by the look of it and he said it was really good when it was warm from the oven, toasted for a mid morning snack and cold too. It is definitely a winner.
